Managing Storage

The present section is an overview of file systems with special attention to the Duix specifical file system AdvFS. Duix supported file systems are:

• UNIX File System (UFS)
• POLYCENTER Advanced File System (AdvFS)
• ISO 9660 Compact Disk File System (CDFS)
• Network File System (NFS)
• Virtual File System (VFS) interface and framework
• Logical Storage Manager (LSM) (replaces LVM)
