CE PBS Queue Status

Interactive Grid commands may be run using globus-job-run. To see the PBS job queue at a known CE, type globus-job-run followed by the required arguments, i.e. node-name, command, command-arguments:

$ globus-job-run adc0015.cern.ch /usr/bin/qstat -a
If your proxy is expired, an error message is printed:
$ globus-job-run adc0015.cern.ch /usr/bin/qstat -a
ERROR: proxy does not exists
Syntax : globus-job-run {[-:] <contact string> [-np N] <executable> [<arg>...]}...
Use -help to display full usage.
Note that qstat output exists only if jobs are running, otherwise you may collect information about the queue typing:
$ globus-job-run adc0015.cern.ch /usr/bin/pbsnodes -a
that lists all known nodes and related status:
lxshare0224.cern.ch
     state = free
     np = 2
     speed = 0
     properties = lcgpro
     ntype = cluster
lxshare0225.cern.ch
     state = free
     np = 2
     speed = 0
     properties = lcgpro
     ntype = cluster
..............
