The 3rd European "Workshop
on Low Temperature Electronics - WOLTE 3" will take place
in San Miniato al Todesco, Centro Studi "I Cappuccini" Italy,

Two
short courses on
fundamental aspects regarding low temperature electronics are foreseen
on .
The scope of the Workshop is to provide an international forum for the
discussiong of recent research and development in the area of low-temperature
electronics including semiconductor, low and high-temperature superconductor
devices, circuits and systems. Previous Workshops were held in Grenoble
in 1994 and in Leuven in 1996. This Workshop is organised in the even years,
complementing the bi-annual Symposium in this field organised by the Electrochemical
Society.

the preparation of the full-length manuscripts will be sent to the authors.
These papers will be published in a special issue of Journal de Physique
and must be received by the Editors by . (Please note that in order to have the
Proceedings ready at the beginning of the Workshop the deadline has been
anticipated) .

The registration/reservation form should be received before 30 April,
1998.
A The Workshop registration fee of 350.000 Lit should be paid upon arrival at the registration
desk (Italian currency only). Major credit cards are welcome. Proceedings, shuttle service during the Workshop,
welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, and social dinner are included in the
registration fee.
Accommodation
Housing and full board on site cost 360 KLit per person in a double
room (supplement for a single room is 90 KLit). The cost for an
adult companion is 300 KLit. The full board covers the duration of
the conference, from the dinner on 23 June to the lunch on 26 June.

Transportation
The most convenient airport is "G. Galilei" in Pisa, where
you can take the train to Empoli Station. In front of Empoli Station
you will find the Seminar minibus (meeting the main trains from
about 15.00 pm until 20.00 pm on Tuesday 23 June). If you need,
phone the Conference Centre [Tel: 418216].
There are also national and international flights to Florence
airport. Coming by train, you have to change at Florence or Pisa,
and stop at Empoli Station to take the Seminar bus. Please click
