The Sixth Topical Seminar on "Neutrino and Astro-Particle Physics" has taken place at the Centro Studi "I Cappuccini" in San Miniato al Todesco, Italy, from .
GENERAL INFORMATION
PROGRAMME
The Seminar is the sixth in a series devoted to experimental and theoretical
results in high-energy particle physics and astrophysics. The previous ones
were held in 1985 [Few and many quarks systems], 1987 [Heavy Flavours], 1991
[Heavy Flavours], 1992 [The Standard Model and just beyond], 1997 [The
irresistible rise of the Standard Model]. The 1999 Seminar will focus on the
discussion of present and future research in the field of neutrino and
astroparticle physics, fields which are complementary to collider
accelerator experiments in the quest for new physics beyond the Standard
Model. A special session will be dedicated to new technologies for manned
space flight, which could open up the exploration of the solar system.
The Seminar will consist of review talks summarizing
the progress and perspectives in the major sectors, and on shorter
talks discussing specific issues. The presentation of posters is also
foreseen.
