Download the OpenVpn client directly from the official OpenVpn website<\/a>.<\/span>

Start the installation<\/strong><\/span>

Double click on the openvpn-connect-vxxxx-macos.dmg<\/em> file just downloaded, a window will open and to start the installation double click on the OpenVpn<\/strong> icon paying attention to select the correct version that varies depending on the hardware present on your MacOS.<\/span>

Download and import the configuration<\/strong><\/span>

Download the OpenVPN configuration file<\/a>.<\/span>
To import the configuration double click on the INFN_BO.ovpn<\/strong><\/em> file, or alternatively drag INFN_BO.ovpn<\/strong><\/em> into the application. You will be asked to enter your VPN access credentials.<\/span>

Connect to the VPN<\/strong><\/span>

By clicking on the newly installed profile, INFN_BO<\/strong>, enter the credentials of your NAZIONALE\/AAI account<\/strong> with the following syntax:<\/span>

Username: username@bo.infn.it<\/strong><\/span>

Password: *******************<\/span>


<\/span>After entering your credentials a window will appear requesting a certificate or a warning \"Missing external Certificate\" , click Ignore or Add Certificate, re-enter your username and password, and uncheck the \"Require External Certificate\" flag.\nA green button shows the correct status of the connection<\/span>.<\/span><\/pre>\n
To connect to hosts inside the INFN network (or resolve the name to an IP address) you need to add the domain to the host name.
