It is open Monday to Saturday from 9 to 7 pm and Sunday to 1 pm. Others

Gastronomy

Bologna people are serious about food and fussy about their pasta. The
best pasta is "tirata a mano", hand stretched and rolled with a
wooden pin, not a machine. It is cooked in many ways and eaten with a multitude
of sauces. Try "tagliatelle" with meat sauce
"ragu'".
Mortadella, known sometimes as
Bologna sausage or baloney, hails form the area.
The city has many good bars and
osterias, where you can get cheap drinks and snacks.
You can shop at the vast Mercato
Ugo Bassi (Delle Erbe), Via Ugo Bassi 27, or the daily produce market just
east of Piazza Maggiore, centred on speciality food shops along Via De
Fusari, Via Drapperie, Via Marchesana, Via Clavature, Via Pescherie Vecchie.
