In particular, we aim at developing techniques to exploit and control the properties of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">complex networks and the processes living on them. For instance one can make social and technological networks more <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">robust and resilient and apply modern statistical techniques to the design and control of natural and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">artificial neural networks. The collaboration involves 6 INFN sections with complementary competences of Theoretical Physics <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">and Dynamical Systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/gruppo4\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2022\/03\/sanmarco.png\" alt=\"Picture Piazza San Marco Venice\" width=\"454\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">The Bologna group is focused on statistical and dynamical properties of artificial and real neural networks, the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">interplay between social and information networks and resilience and controllability of neural and ecological networks. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">The applied methodologies are based on Dynamical Systems, Stochastic Processes and Complex Network Theory(ex. nonlinear random walks on graphs and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans; font-size: 16px;\">dynamical systems coupled through a complex network structure).
