ATLAS<\/span><\/strong> ( A<\/strong> T<\/strong><\/span>oroidal L<\/strong><\/span>HC A<\/strong><\/span>pparatuS<\/strong><\/span>) is one of the major experiments at the L<\/span><\/strong>arge H<\/strong><\/span>andron C<\/strong><\/span>ollider (LHC<\/strong><\/span>) at CERN<\/strong><\/span> (C<\/strong><\/span>onseil E<\/strong><\/span>urop\u00e9en pour la R<\/strong><\/span>echerche N<\/strong><\/span>ucl\u00e9aire) of Ginevra.<\/span><\/p>\n

It allows you to study the predictions made by the Standard Model through particle collision: a theory that encompasses our current knowledge of elementary particles and how they interact with each other.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mechanical design service deals with developing the mechanical parts of the equipment necessary to test the new detector chambers<\/span><\/span><\/span> RPC<\/strong><\/span> (R<\/strong><\/span>esistive P<\/strong><\/span>late C<\/strong><\/span>hamber) used as a muon triggers.<\/span><\/p>\n
