#007bb3\"><strong>C<\/strong><\/span>ompact <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>M<\/strong><\/span>uon <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>S<\/strong><\/span>olenoid detector) is one of the large particle detectors located at the<span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong> LHC<\/strong> <\/span>(<span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>L<\/strong><\/span>arge <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>H<\/strong><\/span>adron <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>C<\/strong><\/span>ollider) collider at <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>CERN<\/strong><\/span> (<span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>C<\/strong><\/span>onseil <span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong>E<\/strong><\/span>urop\u00e9en pour la<span style=\"color: #007bb3\"><strong> R<\/strong><\/span>echerche<strong><span style=\"color: #007bb3\"> N<\/span><\/strong>ucl\u00e9aire) in Geneva.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The detector was built with the aim of advancing knowledge of the fundamental laws that describe our universe by studying all the possible phenomena that can develop when a collision between protons at high energies occurs.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The mechanical design service had collaborated during the construction phase of the detector in the design and construction of the muon chambers.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This system of chambers is currently being improved with the development of new electronic boards for reading data.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The service is studying the layout of the new minicrates to be inserted in the chambers.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At the moment the service is also designing the
