ALICE

ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is one of the big experiments locate at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) collider at CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire) in Ginevra.

For the ALICE group of Bologna, the design service developed and built the TOF (Time Of Flight) detector. This apparatus covers the central region of the experiment with strips of MRPC detectors.
