INFN astroparticle physics and neutrino physics research activities deal with a broad spectrum of scientific problems. The experimental activities are subdivided into the following lines:

  • The study of the neutrino properties are mainly performed at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS), FermiLab in Chicago and underwater.
  • The study of the cosmic rays performed by ground based, underwater or space experiments. In Bolognapeople are involved in the following projects:
  • Bologna people are also involved in searches for direct detection of Dark Matter (DARKSIDE and XENON) and space mission for the study of Dark Energy of the Universe (EUCLID)
