AMS-02

The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) detector was designed to measure cosmic rays, that is, energetic particles and fully ionized nuclei in the space. The experiment was installed on the International Space Station (ISS) in May 2011.

The service was responsible for designing, building and testing one of the sub-detectors: the Time Of Flight (TOF) which is composed of two parts, the Upper TOF and the Lower TOF.
