XENON
The XENON experiment, using liquid xenon, aims to detect the charge and the light signal afther the interaction of a particle with a xenon nucleus in a dual-phase Time Projection Chamber (TPC): that contain liquid (LXe) and gaseous phase on top (GXe).
This detector is installed in a Hall B of the Gran Sasso National Laboratoris (LNGS).
The service collaborated with colleagues from the mechanical design of the laboratories to develop the executive models of the assembly and to develop parts and components of the Tank and the TPC. The lay-out of the internal lining and wiring of the pmt in the water Tank was also defined.
