The credentials to use for the INFN-dot1x and eduroam Wi-Fi are the INFN AAI National credentials followed by @bo.infn.it

username: "username-AAI"@bo.infn.it
password: "la password della username-AAI"

To connect to the INFN-dot1x (or eduroam) Wi-Fi network, simply press the network connections icon (bottom right in the taskbar)

• select the desired Wi-Fi (INFN-dot1x or eduroam);
• press the button: Connect and tick: Connect automatically;
• enter the wireless access credentials press the button: OK;
• if a further confirmation window, press the button: Connect.

View the status of the wireless adapter.

Select the wireless network card and with the right mouse button choose: Status
(Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter setting → Wireless network adapter)

In the next window press: Wireless Properties

Check the values ​​set in the tab: Security.

It must be:

Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise
Encryption Type: AES
Choose a network authentication method: Microsoft EAP-TTLS

Check the settings relating to the “network authentication method” by pressing the button: Settings

Uncheck the box: Enable identity privacy

From “Settings” (wheel-shaped menu from the “Windows” button at the bottom left) select
“Network & Internet” → “Wi-Fi” → “Manage known networks”

Select the desired Wireless and press the “Forget” button

Or from the “Command Prompt”

To view all stored wireless profiles type:

netsh wlan show profiles

Profiles on interface Wi-Fi:

User profiles

To delete a profile type:

netsh wlan delete profile "nome profilo"
