Thesis opportunities in FOOT

 

Data Acquisition (DAQ)

One can contribute to the development of DAQ system for the FOOT experiment. During the thesis work, the latest C++ techiques, threading and distributed architectures will be used. Moreover, it will be possibile to develop VHDL projects.

Track reconstruction, simulation and data analysis

In the FOOT experiment it is possible to contribute in several software topics. For instance, simulation data and recent experimental data from GSI campaign can be analysed. Moreover, it is possible to develop the global track reconstruction algorithm for the whole experiment.
