The main goal of the MONSTRE collaboration is to implement an integrated framework for the physics of atomic nuclei, nuclear reactions, and strongly interacting matter.

In the Bologna section, we mainly investigate the following research topics:

1) Derivation of a microscopic optical potential for elastic and inelastic scattering processes

2) Determination of nuclear observables by electroweak reactions

3) Photo and electroproduction of Lambda-hypernuclei
