 The project aims at realizing a new type of neutron detector based on neutron-proton elastic scattering. The detector will allow not only to detect and measure the energy of incoming neutrons, but also to measure their direction, should a double scattering be observed. The novelty of the detection system corresponds to the use of an optical system with high-rate cameras for the visualization of proton-recoil tracks in the scintillation medium
