POLAR

The POLAR cosmic ray detector, designed and built also thanks to the contribution of the Bologna section, where in particular our service took care of the design of the mechanical structure to support and contain the detector. One of these detectors will be hosted on the sailing boat Nanuq which, starting from Iceland, will follow a route towards the Svalbard Islands and will circumnavigate them before ending the journey in Norway in Tromco.
